Fired Metal represents what I love to use for my jewelry designs.
Fire comes first.
The heat on metal makes it soft or anneals it. After it is "softened" you can bend it into almost anything. Sometimes it takes on a shape of it's own that you weren't even trying to do!
Then comes Metal.
It will be shaped, textured and maybe add some color. I love to use glass enamel powders on copper or silver. It's like having a new box of crayons and you can't wait to use all the colors! And sometimes I'll just melt a bunch of sterling silver on copper or silver to create a beautiful textured effect.

I believe that handmade jewelry should make a person feel special and unique, just like my jewelry. I love what I do and hope it will make you feel special too.
